smit·ten
[smit-n](adj)
1.
struck, as with a hard blow.
2.
grievously or disastrously stricken or afflicted.
3.
very much in love.
Be very much in love with life. Think of your very favorite person and how much you love, respect, cherish, appreciate, pray for, think of, and are smitten with that person. Now multiply it by infinity and imagine huge fireworks, streamers, balloons, cheers, smiles, and hugs.... THAT, is about one billionth of the love that the Lord has for you. As Tenth Avenue North sings.. 'You are MORE than the choices that you've made, you are MORE than the sum of your past mistakes, you are MORE than the problems you create, you've been remade!' No matter what you've done, whether it's big, tiny, or catastrophic, the Lord will absolutely without a doubt forgive you for it, all you have to do is ask. He is so much bigger, better, stronger and awesome-er than we can ever even come close to imagining. And how wonderful is that? To have a god who is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever imagine? Cast all your cares upon Him, he does have the answers, just look and listen carefully. When you feel as though you've got no one, remember you've ALWAYS got the one person who means the absolute most and knows you the absolute best.
And THAT, is why I'm suddenly smitten.
